- DEFY /di Fai/ literally means to resist openly; to present insuperable obstacles to; challenge to do or prove something. Our concept is to produce provocative & evocative designs based on global's past & current issues be it environmental,social & even political. Each artwork is slightly tinted with propaganda-style elements to compliment messages its trying to convey. DEFY has worked with music bands/artists from various background/genres such as local drum 'n' bass crew THE W0RKS, hip-hop crew THE REBEL SCUM, indie-rock bands KLUK KLUK ADVENTURE & HUJAN as well as straight-edge hardcore band SECOND COMBAT. Instead of collaborating with music bands,DEFY also worked with other designers such as Brussels-based designer DZGNBIO & local-based naive artist Donald 'Dog' Abraham.
